Bogolan, or mudcloth, is a luxury fabric typically made in Mali. It is a harmonious collaboration between the men that weave the cloth and the women that apply the decorations by hand. It takes up to a week to finish single cloth.
The cloth is made out of cotton and the coloring is done with natural products, such as mud, or peanuts.
The patterns are highly symbolic.
They can be a valuable gift to your interior or to a friend.
As this product is handmade, it requires careful handling.
